Kara Floyd is a sociologist with a Master’s degree in Business, combining her analytical skills with a deep commitment to protecting children and advocating for parental rights. As the COO of FLOCO Media, and President of Vulpine Publishing she blends high-level business expertise with the warmth and authenticity that define her work and home life.
A devoted wife and mother of four, Kara is also a passionate advocate for children’s safety and parental rights. She founded and chairs the Hernando County chapter of Moms for Liberty, tirelessly working to advocate for parental rights, protect children from predators, and uphold family values in education. Her efforts earned her a nomination for the 2024 Sybil Ludington Award from Moms for Liberty, honoring her as a modern-day “female Paul Revere” in her pursuit to safeguard children and empower parents.
Kara masterfully balances the vibrant chaos of family and farm life with her advocacy and professional roles. Between business calls and family time, she’s often found wrangling kids, chickens, the family dog, a mischievous pony, and the occasional runaway donkey.
Her cozy Florida farm, where she lives with her husband Monty Floyd, CEO of FLOCO Holdings, offers a peaceful retreat that fuels her work and inspires her storytelling, bringing a relatable, heartfelt perspective to all she does.
