This Submission & Publishing Policy outlines how you can work with us, from submitting your book concept to selecting the publishing path that fits your goals. We offer both straight publishing and publishing with marketing support, because we know every author’s journey is unique.

Thank you for your interest in Vulpine Publishing! We believe that stories have power—and that great stories deserve to be told. Whether you're a first-time author or a seasoned wordsmith, we’re here to help bring your vision to life through a collaborative, transparent, and tiered publishing approach.

We offer two pathways for authors to publish with us:

📝 Tier One: Publishing Only
📣 Tier Two: Publishing + Marketing Support

Our process is designed to meet you where you are—and help you go where you want to be.

Step 1: Submit Your Manuscript or Proposal

To begin the process, authors must submit either:

A complete manuscript (fiction or nonfiction), or
A book proposal (typically for nonfiction, memoir, or business titles)

We accept submissions directly from authors—no agent required. We’re especially interested in works that align with our core mission: championing bold, original voices that might be overlooked by traditional gatekeepers.

📌 What to include in your submission:

Author bio & contact info
Submit synopsis and first 3 chapters
Genre and target audience
Word count

Step 2: Internal Review & Feedback

Once submitted, your work will go through our internal review process. This includes:

An initial review by our editorial team (typically 2–4 weeks)
A follow-up email with one of the following:
- Offer of acceptance into Tier One or Tier Two
- Request for revisions or additional materials
- A respectful decline, possibly with feedback and resources

If accepted, we will invite you to move forward into one of our publishing tiers.

Step 3: Choose Your Publishing Tier

At Vulpine Publishing, we believe in clear options. Authors may choose between two levels of partnership:

📝 Tier One: Straight Publishing

This traditional-style track includes:

Full editorial review & copyediting
Custom cover design
ISBN assignment & metadata setup
eBook + Print formatting and distribution
Royalty agreement (New authors will be subject to Intro Terms)

You retain rights to your work, and royalties are paid quarterly. This tier does not include marketing or promotional campaigns, though we’ll provide a launch guide.
