PORTLAND, OR – Wicked Whispers has officially confirmed that Wicked Beats Volumes 5, 6, and 7 are now fully set in the production pipeline, marking a major milestone for one of horror rock’s most ambitious anthology series. And while the ink is barely dry on the finalized track lists, the studio is already buzzing with life, sound, and just the right touch of chaos.
This week, recording began on the first tracks for Volumes 5–7, with Allie Cat and Neon Rebel leading the charge in true Wicked Whispers fashion, loud, unapologetic, and dripping with spine-tingling attitude. They’re joined by a handful of fresh voices bringing new energy to the Wicked Beats legacy, with early sessions described by insiders as “feral,” “electrifying,” and “the kind of loud you can feel in your bones.”
The original release dates for these volumes, announced earlier this year, have been officially revised. Wicked Whispers is pushing the calendar to allow each record to get the production, mixing, and atmosphere they deserve. New release dates will be unveiled next week, and the label promises they’ll be worth the wait.
“These tracks aren’t just music, they’re stories, nightmares, and adrenaline packed into every beat,” says Erin Moriarty, Manager of Wicked Whispers. “When Allie Cat and Neon Rebel hit the studio together, there’s no such thing as half-speed. We’d rather push a date than rush perfection.”
The Wicked Beats anthology has earned a cult following for its electrifying mix of horror, rock, and immersive soundscapes. With Volumes 5–7 now officially moving forward, fans can expect the sonic landscape to grow even darker, stranger, and more intense.
