Monty Floyd is a passionate advocate for child welfare and the protection of the vulnerable, bringing a deeply personal commitment to every aspect of his work. A professed member of the Order of Saint John, Knights of Malta — currently serving as a Postulant for the Knighthood of Magistral Grace, pending formal investiture — Monty has dedicated his life to defending the faith, serving the sick and poor, and protecting the vulnerable, particularly children and women. Through this vocation, he has worked directly with state leaders to help enact protective legislation, including Florida's Digital Bill of Rights, and has been recognized for this advocacy by the State of Florida and the White House on multiple occasions.
Before his current work, Monty spent years as a creative at Disney, contributing to Star Wars Weekends and Walt Disney Imagineering — experience that shaped his lifelong storytelling instincts and now informs his work as an author and entertainment executive. A devoted husband and father of four, Monty's dedication goes beyond advocacy; his life's work is rooted in his role as a parent, a man of faith, and a community leader.
Monty holds a Master's degree in Human Services Administration and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. through St Mary's University in the United Kingdom. As a former collegiate ice hockey goaltender, he knows the power of resilience and teamwork — qualities that shape both his advocacy and his professional pursuits. An active member of Delta Epsilon Iota and Pi Gamma Mu national honor societies, Monty's academic dedication reflects his commitment to impactful community service and intellectual growth.
As an author, Monty's work centers on children's books and devotional works on prayer. His book Can I Be a Pirate? has held the #5 spot in its children's book category for more than two years — a comical, approachable story designed to open honest conversations between children and trusted adults about the dangers of grooming, a threat that occurs with troubling frequency in public schools. He is currently developing a new series of books alongside authors Flynt Moody and Delvin Foy.
Monty is also the CXO of FLOCO Media, where he channels his vision and dedication into building a family-run studio specializing in entertainment, publishing, and intellectual property. Under his leadership, FLOCO has achieved remarkable growth, from chart-topping music releases to best-selling books, all while maintaining a commitment to faith, family values, and community impact. Monty lives in Florida with his wife.
