ABOUT

Fox Fire Records

Fox Fire Records, a division of FLOCO Media, is an independent record label born for the bold. We amplify the voices mainstream labels overlook—artists with something to say, a fire in their gut, and the grit to back it up.

From the outlaw country rebellion of Allie Cat & The Strays, to the spiritual warfare of Christian metal band Acre, to the glam-punk chaos of Neon Rebel, and the haunting atmospheres of Wicked Whispers, our roster isn’t just diverse—it’s dangerous in the best way. Every artist signed to Fox Fire Records brings raw authenticity, fearless storytelling, and a sound that refuses to conform.

Founded on the principle of creative freedom and radical honesty, Fox Fire Records gives artists the tools, independence, and support they need to light a fire in the hearts of their audience—and burn through the noise of the industry.

As a core brand under FLOCO Media, we’re not just making music. We’re building a cultural countercurrent - one song, one story, one revolution at a time.

OUR STORY

Fox Fire Records is a wholly owned division of FLOCO Media, operating alongside its sister brands Vulpine Publishing and FLOCO Entertainment—the latter of which oversees animation, special effects, and visual development. Together, these entities form the creative foundation of FLOCO Media’s expanding entertainment portfolio. While Fox Fire Records is technically a “Doing Business As” (DBA) under FLOCO Media, it functions with the intent and structure of a fully developed subsidiary.

Launched in August 2024, Fox Fire Records emerged from a landmark acquisition in which FLOCO founder and CEO Monty Floyd secured two legacy indie imprints—Allie Cat Records (Portland, OR) and Monkey Paw Music (Santa Fe, CA)—as part of a symbolic $1 consolidation deal. Both labels were originally formed by coalitions of independent artists striving to build something of their own, but were ultimately hampered by missteps, lack of infrastructure, and technical setbacks that led to their collapse.

Initially operating under the name FLOCO Music, the label was later rebranded as Fox Fire Records as part of FLOCO Holdings’ transition into FLOCO Media. This move unlocked the potential to build an agile, artist-first platform for independent music production, distribution, and development. Much of the music acquired through the deal had never seen proper release—due to poor recording conditions or digital corruption—creating a new challenge: how to restore and preserve it.

Since then, FLOCO Media has successfully remastered over 200 tracks (some dating back to 2012) to Dolby Atmos or near-Atmos quality, with the goal of upgrading the full catalog (including those already partially remastered) to Atmos standards by 2027.

Today, Fox Fire Records manages a deep and growing library of over 1,500 tracks and musical works, many of which were acquired through catalog deals and estate purchases spanning nearly a century of music history—some as far back as the 1920s. The label currently supports four active touring and recording acts - Acre, Allie Cat, Neon Rebel, and Wicked Whispers, which is currently preparing for a national performance rollout at Haunt-Cons and Comic-Cons across the country.

Conversations are ongoing with several retired artists and bands under the Fox Fire umbrella who are now exploring a return to the stage or studio. As a whole, the label remains committed to reviving and elevating the independent music scene through both preservation and innovation free from any type of censorship.
