FLOCO Media is announcing a strategic update regarding our highly anticipated Netherverse project.

Due to the scale and production demands of ACRE’s upcoming MORTIS release, development resources have been reallocated to ensure that project is delivered at the level it requires. As a result, Netherverse will no longer enter production in 2026 as originally planned.

🎥 Original Plan vs. Updated Direction

The Netherverse series was initially slated as a major animated horror project running from October 2026 through October 2030 (5 seasons).

That timeline has now shifted.

Instead of rushing a pilot to meet the original window, FLOCO Media is taking a long-term, story-first approach to ensure Netherverse launches at the highest possible quality.

📖 What’s Coming Instead

While animation is delayed, the story is not.

We are pivoting Netherverse into a multi-phase narrative rollout:

  • Fall (TBD): Netherverse Novelization (FLOCO Books)

  • Fall (Next Year): Graphic Novel Adaptation

  • Fall 2028: Animated Pilot Release

  • Series Plan: 3 Seasons (with expansion potential to 5)

✍️ Story Development Status

  • The pilot script and full Season One scripts are complete

  • These scripts will now be adapted into a novelization format

  • Book One will cover the first half of Season One

  • Book Two will continue and expand into the second half of the narrative arc

At this time:

  • The novelization has not yet entered production

  • There is no confirmed release date for this fall

  • An official title has not yet been assigned by FLOCO Books
